Use of Phenoxyethanol

Phenoxyethanol is a preservative system that is viewed as the Gold Standard and preferred choice in the EU for natural products. The EU tends to be ahead of us in the US on these sorts of things. In order to have a stable shelf life it is necessary to use a preservative system. This is why we chose phenoxyethanol over parabens. At this time we have not seen data that supports a change.
